Casey's bio

Casey is a successful executive, startup entrepreneur, advisor and investor with 20 years of experience in leadership, technology and strategic planning.

Casey is CMO of Philadelphia-based cloud provider Linode, providing hosting infrastructure to over 400,000 customers globally. He is also the founder and managing partner of Nashville-based Dividend Partners, a private equity fund providing capital and coaching to early-stage, high potential, growth companies.

Since 1994 Casey has been building new technology products, establishing partnerships and growing untapped sales channels for companies like Kroll (NYSE: MMC), HealthStream (NASDAQ: HSTM) and SmithReed Capital. He built two early e-commerce startups, GearPro and TshirtNow, and has since implemented growth strategies for ventures valued between 5 and 500MM across cloud computing, business intelligence and investigations, e-learning, healthcare, risk management, venture capital, software and financial services.

Casey provided executive oversight for several vital relationships during his tenure at Kroll including AT&T, Monster WorldWide, U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, Major League Baseball, Express Scripts and Google. At HealthStream he led the development of new software solutions in partnership with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) and Adobe resulting in launching new products adopted by Sutter Health, Tenet Healthcare, The Cleveland Clinic, Trinity Health and Christus Health.

Casey leads with the practical knowledge and experience gained through founding and working with several startups as well as corporate environments of publicly traded companies. These experiences have provided him a strong foundation of competencies in product development, sales, marketing, and strategic planning and made him an excellent leadership coach for startups and established corporations alike.

As far as hobbies, Casey likes tinkering on vintage motorcycles at Nashville Moto Collective and helping mentor others.

TshirtNow was an online t-shirt megastore offering t-shirts, posters, caps, and stickers from your favorite movies, bands concerts, and sports teams. I helped bootstrap this company out of a garage while attending college at the University of Alabama.
